The agreement that applies whenever you request a quote or place an order with Click for Shutters. Plain-English where we can manage it — please get in touch if anything isn’t clear.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
These terms apply to every quote, order and purchase made through clickforshutters.com.au or over the phone with Click for Shutters Pty Ltd (“Click for Shutters”, “we”, “us”). By submitting a quote request or placing an order you agree to be bound by them. Nothing here limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which is explained further in section 8.
The instant quote tool and design centre give you an estimated price based on the measurements and options you enter — it is not an order. A binding contract is only formed once you submit your order, we confirm it in writing (by email), and payment has been received in full. Prices shown are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Because every shutter is custom-made to the measurements you provide, we carry out a final check of your order — either through Self-Review or Expert Review & Measure Guarantee — before it enters manufacturing. Please make sure your dimensions and product selections are correct at this stage; once your order is confirmed and manufacturing begins, changes are far more limited (see section 4).
Your shutters are manufactured specifically for the window measurements and mounting method you provide. It is your responsibility to measure carefully using our measuring guide, or to have your order checked under our Expert Review & Measure Guarantee before it goes into production. We are not able to offer a refund or free remake where shutters have been manufactured correctly to the measurements you supplied, but were measured incorrectly at your end and an Expert Review was not taken up. If you’re at all unsure, call us before you order — it costs nothing to ask.
You may cancel or amend your order free of charge any time before it enters manufacturing. Once your panels have gone into production they are cut and finished to your exact specifications, so we are generally unable to accept a cancellation, change or return from that point, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 8). If your circumstances change, contact us as soon as possible — we will always try to help where manufacturing hasn’t started.
We may cancel an order and refund you in full if we’re unable to supply the goods — for example due to a stock shortage, a delivery address outside the areas we service, or a genuine pricing or listing error. We’ll always let you know by email or phone if this happens.
We deliver Australia-wide. Estimated production and delivery timeframes are provided at the time of order and again by email once your shutters are dispatched. Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees — they can be affected by our freight partners once your order leaves our workshop, and we’ll keep you updated if anything changes materially.
Click for Shutters is sold direct, for either DIY installation using our install guide or fitting by a tradesperson of your choice. We are not responsible for installation carried out by you or by a third-party installer, including any damage caused during fitting. Our install guide and support team are available if you’d like guidance before you start.
Click for Shutters come with a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. The warranty does not cover: damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidental damage, exposure outside the home (our shutters are designed for interior use only), normal wear and tear, or alterations made after delivery. If you believe a panel is faulty, contact us with photos and your order details and we’ll arrange an assessment, repair or replacement as appropriate.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms restricts, excludes or modifies these statutory guarantees.
We aim to keep product information, photography and pricing on our site accurate and up to date, but colours may render slightly differently on screen than in person — we’d always recommend ordering a free sample before you commit. If a pricing or listing error occurs, we’ll contact you before processing any affected order.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the affected goods, except where a different outcome is required under the Australian Consumer Law. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events reasonably outside our control, such as extreme weather, transport disruption or supplier shortages.
We only use the personal information you give us to process your quote, order and delivery, and to provide support. We don’t sell your details to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products or the law. The version that applied at the time you placed your order is the version that governs that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
