Our plantation shutters are made from aluminium-reinforced PVC — a durable, tough, water-resistant material suitable for anywhere inside the home, from wet bathrooms and kitchens to sun-drenched front windows. PVC brings durability, while the aluminium core gives strength and prevents bowing. This combination stands up to general weathering and to inevitable wear — even from kids and pets. Almost every shutter installation needs a frame, and we include one with every order. There are three: a Z-frame and an L-frame for inside-mount (recess fit), and an L-frame for outside-mount (face fit). We’ll recommend the right one for each window during the design wizard.
Easier than most people expect. Why pay a tradesman for something you can do in an afternoon? We provide detailed, step-by-step install guides with diagrams. If you’d rather have a tradesperson do it, we can recommend installers in your suburb.
